Cancellation Policy

In accordance with the Home-Approved Building Surveyors Ltd Terms & Conditions of Business, the client will be entitled to cancel their order for the Home-Approved inspection service by notifying the Home-Approved office on 01483 906 672 at any time before 10am on the day before the day of the inspection and receive an 80% refund. Later cancellation will incur the full fee for the service, except in extenuating circumstances which are at the sole discretion of the company.

The Company shall be entitled not to proceed with the provision of the Service and thereby cancel the order for the Service at any time (and will so report promptly to the Client) if, after arriving at the Property, it is concluded that it is a type of construction of which the Company has insufficient specialist knowledge to be able to provide the Service satisfactorily.  In the case of cancellation by the Company, the Company will refund any money paid by the Client for the Service, except for expenses reasonably incurred.  In the case of cancellation by the Company, the reason will be explained to the Client.

Refunds will be made in the same method as payment was received and within three working days. Where refund payments are made by cheque this will be posted 1st class.
